Kathryn Sastaunik Obituary

Kathryn Kerry Sastaunik (Kate Schermerhorn) was born December 17, 1978 and left this world March 19, 2022. She is missed by her mother Lori, her father Kerry, her sister Tasha, and her brother Jenz (Jenean). Also missing her are John and Matthew, stepmom Heather, stepdad Lonnie, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her partner Brad is truly heartbroken. Hopefully family, friends, and pets who have passed on before her are there to meet her.

Kate's unique spirit shone through her creation of art, prose, and food. She held a deep respect and love for animals and nature. Kate was kind and thoughtful, giving where she saw need. In keeping with Kate's generous nature, she donated her organs so others may live.

Her body will be laid to rest in Prince George and her spirit will be freed in Victoria.
