Cory Donald Smith

With great sadness the family of Cory Donald Smith announces his sudden passing after a lengthy illness, on December 16th, 2021 at the age of 49 years.

Cory will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela, of 25 years, the animals (Finn, Luna and Pumpkin), His mother Grace (Dennis), father Don (Vicki), mother-in-law Lorraine, siblings Carrie (Tim), Christine, Issac (Amanda), brother-in-law Greg (Jody), numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ouellette, Smith, Beck and father-in-law and several uncles.

Cory loved Angie, the animals, music, drawing, painting, watching movies and spending time outside on the patio but he especially loved spending time with his family. He was a diabetic most of his life an had been on hemodialysis for the last 4 years.

The family would like to whole heartedly thank the Renal team: Dr.Bashir, Dr.Singh and Dr.Dinn, the wonderful hemo nurses and staff, the IMU staff for their unwavering support, the ambulance, fire rescue and emergency staff: Dr.S.Chang and Nurse Nadine.

His passing was sudden and a shock to all who loved him. He will be missed.

A graveside burial will be on December 30th at 1:30pm at the Prince George Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow on April 14th, 2022 (his 50th Birthday).
