ANNE OWEN Born July 10, 1939 in Alpine, Manitoba, passed away September 14, 2017 in Prince George, BC. It is with great heartache we announce the passing of Anne Owen after a lengthy battle with progressive supranuclear Palsy (PSP). In her final days, Mom was at peace surrounded by family. Anne is survived by husband Mel, sons Tyler (Kathryn) and Spencer (Naomi), grandchildren Ellie and Oliver, Keiya, Kohrin and Kanna, brother Mike as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her father Andrew and mother Fanny, sister Nadia and brothers Peter, Walter, Steven, Alex, Jim and Andrew. Our family would like to thank Dr. Closson and the many staff at the Simon Fraser Lodge for all the tender care they provided Anne. Thank you Pastor Wayne Morgan, First Baptist Church, for your prayers and thoughts. A viewing will be held at Prince George Funeral Service, 1014 Douglas Street, Prince George, BC, the night of Monday, September 18, 2017 at 7:00pm. The Funeral Service will be at Prince George Funeral Service, 1014 Douglas Street, Prince George, BC, in the morning of Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:30am.
